Bagel Face UK is a luxury baby wear brand established in January 2017 by full time 3D creative, Alexandra Lii Cahill.
Alex has always been passionate about design; over the last 10 years she has studied Art & Design, Fine Art, Textiles, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. After working briefly on an Arabian cultural festival in Abu Dhabi as a props stylist, she realised she preferred the more ‘hands on’ approach to design therefore began to pursue her passion for crocheting.
It was the summer of 2014 that Alex’s crocheting journey began with a vibrant range of festival wear. In between studying at university and working various part time jobs, Alex crocheted anything and everything she could, learning new techniques and developing her own designs along the way. Late 2016, Alex began to share her baby wear makes on social media and with interest growing rapidly, Bagel Face was born.

She works independently from her home studio in Manchester, combining a traditional technique with her own modern twist; she aims to produce unique and timeless garments that can be passed down through generations.
It has been a successful 4 years in business; featuring in magazines such as Tatler, the UK’s fastest selling baby magazine, Gurgle, and most recently, Vogue. In late 2018, Alex welcomed her first child, Alfie, into the world and just a few months ago was blessed with a baby girl, Ruby. Grateful for the opportunity to work from home around her young family, Alex is more passionate than ever and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Bagel Face!
